Bearing a hybrid FET-and-valve design, the Lewitt LCT 1040 large-diaphragm condenser supports smooth, seamless mixes of the coloured-in output of a fitted E88CC valve with four selectable characters (Clear, Warm, Dark, and Saturated), and the crystal clarity of a FET circuit. And, if you can't make your mind up, you're granted the freedom to record the valve circuit and clean FET circuit in isolation. In short, the sonic potential of the LCT 1040 is virtually boundless and can be adapted and applied to virtually any production job. And, as a convenient bonus, every parameter can be set and adjusted from the comfort of your control room using the included remote system. The remote hub doesn't just hand engineers control over the valve/FET blend and valve character selection, but provides a high-pass filter, PAD, and stepless polar pattern control.
